QA Automation Engineer (Lead) with skills Selenium, C#, Automated Testing, PLC Testing, QTP, API Testing for location Bangalore, India
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Description
Responsibilities:-
• Develop the automation test strategy
• Develop the manual test plans/test cases as per the BRD or SRS
• Design, code and maintain automated scripts, functions/function libraries, database verification,
and behavior and data-driven tests
• Perform manual testing of the developed functionality
• Work with Agile team to reduce manual/repetitive tasks and assist with writing test automation
cases
• Adopt best practices when developing automation code including comment documentation,
maintainability, and data-driven development
• Train and communicate the fundamentals of design for testability, test driven development, and
behavior driven development
• Develop systematic communication of the guidelines, process and patterns and develop a
roadmap for sustainment of the test infrastructure.
• Partner with peers and management team to continuously improve testing methods, process,
techniques and use of tools
• Ensure timely updates to test tools including routine patches, major upgrades and immediate
response to security vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshoot team issues
• Actively participate in team meetings / daily status meetings
Must Skills:-
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Overall 9+ years of experience, minimum 5+ years in Core Java
• Experience in design/implementation and maintenance of automation frameworks (keyword
driven/data driven/BDD) - Cucumber
• Expert in Java coding – Advanced Java concepts like Collections, Design Patterns, Streams,
POJOS
• Expert in Selenium Java framework
• Expert in REST based web services automation using Rest Assured
• Expert in SOAP based web services automation using JAXB
• Understands data structures like JSON/XML
• Good experience on TestNG
• Knowledge about CI tools like Jenkins
• Experience developing a successful automated testing strategy using multiple tools preferred
• Excellent knowledge of Agile QA/Dev processes and software development life cycle
• Good problem solving techniques
• Travel Domain knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Good experience on onshore-offshore work model
