This position is for Sr. Consultant, Develpment.

Analyzing complex business requirements by engaging with key stakeholders to determine specific feature expectations and product design/architecture needs.

Understanding technical issues and their business implications, and effectively communicating them to other stakeholders within the organization.

Applying a strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming principles and Design Patterns.

Maintaining software versioning using code repository tools.

Spearheading all code management efforts to support Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and Continuous Delivery.

Involved in Continuous Improvement initiatives within the Development workstream by increasing code coverage and reducing code complexity.

Documenting low-level and high-level designs, as well as the technical specifications for the application.

Documenting or reviewing flow charts that detail different use cases and user stories based on the project scope, along with the business walkthrough presentations of the application.

Communicating project information to stakeholders through presentations and organizational tools.

Analyzing the existing application when adding new features and recommending upgrades to improve performance baselines and support those features.

Creating rollback plans for the software upgrades.

Testing to ensure expected results and capture new performance metrics.

Involved in release and version management.

Performing ongoing software maintenance operations.

Providing technical guidance and support for the development and troubleshooting of systems.

Researching, testing, or verifying proper functioning of software patches and fixes.

Evaluating critical code fixes to determine ship readiness and ensure that each release is delivered on time and with high quality.

Supporting the production deployment and providing warranty support.

Job Requirements: Required Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, MIS, Engineering (Any), or any related field + 5 years of experience in the job offered, Software Engineer, System Engineer, Developer, Software Architect or related. Travel may be required to various unanticipated client sites throughout the US.

Salary Range: $176,134/Year to $190,000/Year.
