Qualifications and Skills:

·          7+ years of overall experience, with strong expertise in Bl and data engineering.

·          Expert-level knowledge of Power Bl Desktop, Power Bl Service, DAX, and M Query.

·          Hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and ETL pipelines.

·          Advanced proficiency with SQL (complex joins, window functions, CTEs, performance tuning).

·          Experience designing data models for analytics and reporting.

·          Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure/ AWS / GCP - preferably Azure/Azure Databricks).

·          Working knowledge of Cl/CD & DevOps for Bl deployment

·          (nice to have). Preferred Qualifications

·          Experience with Azure Data Factory, ADF pipelines, or

·          similar orchestration tools.

·          Familiarity with Git, DevOps pipelines, and workspace

·          governance.

·          Exposure to Python beyond PySpark (optional but beneficial).

·          Power Bl certification, Databricks certification, or similar credentials.

Responsibilities and Duties

Power Bl / Visualization

·          Design and develop end-to-end Power Bl dashboards, reports, and paginated reports.

·          Build complex DAX measures, calculated tables, and data models optimized for performance.

·          Implement row-level security (RLS), incremental refresh, and performance tuning. Work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive visual insights.

Databricks/ ETL

·          Develop data pipelines and transformations in Databricks using PySpark and SQL. Optimize jobs, clusters, and workflows for performance and cost efficiency.

·          Work with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and lakehouse architecture. Collaborate with data engineers to improve data quality, reliability, and automation.

SQL & Data Modelling

·          Write advanced SQL for querying, optimizing, and transforming complex datasets. Design scalable data models, fact/dimension schemas, star/snowflake models.

·          Work on performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.

·          Collaboration & Delivery

·          Partner with product owners, analysts, and business teams to refine requirements. Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and solution documentation.

·          Contribute to best practices, code reviews, and reusable frameworks.
