Job Description – Python Developer (with Databricks)

Experience: 4–7 years

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Python/FastAPI Developer with strong experience in building scalable data-driven web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Python (Pandas) for data processing, exposure to PySpark/Databricks for distributed workloads. Experience in user authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), and backend security is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

·       Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI.

·       Implement and optimize data processing pipelines using Python (pandas) and PySpark.

·       Integrate APIs with front-end components for smooth end-to-end workflows.

·       Build secure authentication and authorization modules (OAuth2, JWT, Azure AD, etc.).

·       Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and data engineering teams.

·       Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.

·       Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and performance tuning.

Required Skills

·       Strong proficiency in Python and libraries like pandas, NumPy, and requests.

·       Experience in FastAPI or similar frameworks (Flask, Django REST).

·       Good understanding of REST API design, versioning, and documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI).

·       Familiarity with SQL and data modeling concepts.

·       Experience in implementing user authentication, RBAC, and API security.

·       Exposure to CI/CD, Git, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Good to Have

·       Experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing.

·       Knowledge of Databricks platform and Azure Data Services.

·       Working knowledge of ReactJS for UI development and integration.

·       Understanding of event-driven architectures and microservices.
