Quality Analyst (QA) with 5+ years of  experience in ETL testing and hands-on experience testing Informatica Cloud (IICS) migration projects. The QA will be responsible for validating the successful migration of ETL jobs/processes from Informatica PowerCenter to Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), ensuring data integrity, performance, and compliance with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand migration requirements and support validation strategies for data and ETL logic migrated from PowerCenter to IICS.

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes.

• Perform data validation, data reconciliation, and data integrity checks between source and target systems.

• Compare and analyze source and target datasets using tools like SQL, Informatica Data Validation Option (DVO), or custom scripts.

• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and project managers to identify issues and ensure resolution.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of the ETL pipelines in cloud environments.

• Document and report bugs and track them to closure using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.

• Provide test estimates and contribute to the overall test strategy and quality planning.

• Participate in defect triage and status reporting meetings.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of QA experience with focus on ETL/data migration testing

• Strong knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud (IICS)

• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data validation

• Hands-on experience with data validation and comparison tools (Informatica DVO, QuerySurge, custom scripts, etc.)

• Experience in cloud data warehousing environments (e.g., Snowflake, GCP BigQuery, Azure Synapse, etc.) is a plus

• Familiarity with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar defect management tools

• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
