Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture strategy for large-scale, cloud-native application portfolios.

• Define enterprise standards, reference architectures, and patterns for AWS-native development.

• Architect complex solutions using Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge, Step Functions, ECS/EKS, Aurora, and modern integration patterns.

• Lead modernization initiatives (legacy-to-cloud migration, microservices, containers, event-driven architectures).

• Provide technical leadership to engineering teams, architects, and product stakeholders.

• Govern architecture decisions through reviews, design authority, and best practice frameworks (AWS Well-Architected, DDD, 12-Factor Apps).

• Drive DevSecOps, IaC (CDK/Terraform), automation, observability, and operational excellence.

• Guide cost optimization, performance tuning, scalability, and resilience strategies.

• Influence roadmap, strategy, and technology adoption across business units.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years in application architecture, including deep AWS cloud-native expertise.

• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale, mission-critical applications and APIs on AWS.

• Experience with high-scale distributed systems, event streaming (Kafka/Kinesis).

• Exposure to emerging cloud technologies (AI/ML on AWS, serverless data pipelines).

• Strong proficiency in microservices, serverless, containers, APIs, and domain-driven design.

• Hands-on experience with modern programming languages (Java/Python/Node.js/React/Redux/.Net).

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to set architectural direction across teams.

• Expertise with CI/CD, IaC, DevSecOps, multi-account governance, and cloud security.

• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence senior leadership.

• AWS Solutions Architect – Professional (must-have)

• AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) – advantageous
