ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
Define performance test scope, scenarios, and success metrics
Execute baseline, load, stress, and endurance testing for APIs and services
Validate key metrics: RPS/TPS, P50/P95/P99 latency, concurrency, and error rates
Develop and maintain performance test scripts
Analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and support remediation
Produce clear performance reports and readiness sign-off
Support go-live validation and early hyper-care monitoring
Required Experience
Strong background in performance and load testing for APIs and distributed systems
Hands-on experience with tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, k6, or similar
Solid scripting skills (Python, Java, or equivalent)
Experience working with cloud-native architectures
Preferred Experience
Locust for distributed load and performance testing
Playwright for UI/API automation of performance-critical flows
Experience with GCP environments (Apigee, GKE, Cloud Spanner preferred)
CI/CD integration for automated performance testing
