QA Automation Engineer (Senior) with skills SDET, Automated Testing, Selenium, API & Web Services Testing for location Any Infogain Base Location (Noida, Gurugram, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune)
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Skills
• Own overall test strategy and test planning across functional, integration, performance, and operational testing
• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for APIs and backend services
• Write and maintain automated test scripts (API, integration, regression) using appropriate tools and languages
• Orchestrate execution of automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines
• Perform targeted manual testing where automation is not feasible or cost-effective Plan and execute performance and load testing using tools such as LoadRunner (or equivalent), including analysis and reporting
• Validate non-functional requirements such as latency, throughput, scalability, and stability
• Lead defect triage, bug reporting, tracking, and closure in collaboration with engineering teams
• Support UAT and OAT, including coordination, defect validation, and sign-off readiness
• Provide clear test status, quality metrics, and risk visibility to stakeholders
What We Need (Must Haves)
Experience testing APIs and backend systems
Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies
Strong defect management and reporting skills
Preferred Experience
· Experience testing GCP-based platforms
· Familiarity with Apigee, GKE, and Cloud Spanner
· Experience testing microservices and distributed systems
· Exposure to SRE concepts, reliability testing, or operational testing
