We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Technical Writer with 6+ years of proven success in creating accurate and user-friendly documentation. The ideal candidate will excel in translating complex technical information into clear, concise, and accessible materials for diverse audiences—ranging from end-users to subject-matter experts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, organize, and maintain technical documentation including user guides, integration manuals, technical specifications, and release notes, ensuring clarity and consistency.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to gather information and translate technical concepts into engaging, reader-friendly instructions.

• Establish and enforce style guidelines, templates, and best practices for the documentation process.

• Conduct user research and usability testing to understand end-user requirements and continuously improve documentation quality.

• Create multimedia content (e.g., diagrams, videos, infographics) to enhance the user’s understanding of complex processes.

• Manage version control of documentation and maintain a centralized repository of all technical documents.

• Participate in product roadmap meetings, providing insights on documentation requirements, timelines, and potential risks.

• Mentor and guide junior technical writers, ensuring best practices are followed to maintain high-quality documentation standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• 6+ years of professional experience in technical writing, preferably within software, IT, or related technology sectors.

• Proven ability to write for multiple audiences, including end-users, developers, and technical experts.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.

• Familiarity with documentation tools and platforms (e.g., Confluence, MadCap Flare, FrameMaker, Microsoft Word).

• Experience working within agile environments and contributing to sprint planning and product development cycles.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workloads in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and content management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work cross-functionally with diverse teams.
