ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Skills
Key Responsibilities
Perform manual testing of mobile applications on iOS and Android devices
Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data
Execute functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools
Validate UI/UX, usability, and compatibility across multiple devices and OS versions
Verify mobile-specific features such as notifications, gestures, orientation, and offline behavior
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders
Re-test fixes and perform regression testing before releases
Ensure compliance with business and quality requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience in manual testing of mobile applications
Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios
Knowledge of defect lifecycle and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
Familiarity with different mobile devices, screen sizes, and OS versions
Understanding of functional and regression testing concepts
Good analytical and communication skills
Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman or similar tools)
Exposure to test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, etc.)
