RTE JD:

• Strong experience in managing multiple releases of an application development including front and back-end processes as well as in architecting and designing DevOps processes and tools for large-scale software development 

• Expertise in building scalable, maintainable, and performant DevOps architectures 

• Experience in defining and implementing DevOps processes and best practices 

• Familiarity with frontend technologies and design systems Experience in leading teams of DevOps engineers and providing technical guidance. They also drive the technical strategy and roadmap for infrastructure and tools. 

• Should have experience in application development for retail industry.

• Should gave familiarity with ADO (Azure DevOps) tool.

• Excellent in communication and client handling

Role / Activities

• Role: Release Manager/ Release Train Engineer - Costco Mobile Apps
  
  Activities: (main activities include but not limited to) 

• Lead the complete Release Management of Costco Mobile Apps ( iOS/Android) 

• Schedule and Release/Deployment planning for the Costco Mobile Apps.

•  Work with Engineering Managers, Delivery managers , Product owners to understand the release Cargo for each release and making sure the releases go smoothly as planned.

• Work with Devs leads and QA leads to address any production issues and release Hotfix's as needed.

• Maintain and document all the Release related documents such as RFC's, Go/No-Go decks, Cargo Trackers.

• Run point on Daily triage and Release sync up meetings, Hypercare meetings and coordinate Go/No meetings before deployments.

• Maintain eCommerce Release calendar and update the mobile releases.

Skillset and Experience

• Knowledge of Mobile Apps (iOS/ Android) complete development lifecycle from development to production deployment to Appstore/Play store.

• Mobile Release engineer experience and implementing Canary release strategy 

• Understanding of Azure DevOps, CI/CD 

• Experience in building and publishing the mobile apps to Appstore and Google's play store 

• Work with ADO boards

• Mobile development experience with iOS/ Android and integrating DevSecOps to mobile development life cycle.

Experience in leading, managing and providing mobile governance of iOS/Android applications.
