GenAI Query Assistant gathers a unified, real-time view of each trade deal’s status and progress.

These emails included critical documents vital for tracking specific contracts. Yet, 40% of emails were missing unique identifiers. The emails spanned multiple stakeholders, and contained various formats and unstructured threads, spread out over weeks or months. As a result, tracking shipment status, resolving payment issues, and identifying pending documentation was a manual, fragmented, and error-prone process.

Action

We developed an advanced AI-powered solution, the GenAI Query Assistant, built using Generative AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). The assistant automatically ingests incoming emails and attachments, extracting key data points such as shipment details, port locations, and Lines of Credit, even when emails lack clear identifiers.

Leveraging deep contextual understanding of the commodities trade lifecycle, the AI correlates disconnected emails and documents across multiple threads and stakeholders to construct a unified, real-time view of each trade deal’s status and progress.

Beyond information aggregation, the assistant identifies emails requiring responses, tracks unresolved communications, and proactively flags delays or pending actions. This reduces oversight risk, strengthens compliance, and improves operational responsiveness across teams.

The solution is seamlessly integrated with Salesforce and hosted on Microsoft Azure, ensuring insights surface directly within existing workflows without disruption.
