Our client is an award-winning destination management company that coordinates sightseeing tours and vehicle transfers across 20 Latin America and Caribbean destinations through a centralized platform. This system supports daily operations for sales, customer service, marketing, finance, travel agencies, hotel reps, operations and other teams.
The modern travel platform delivers seamless customer experiences with greater efficiency, security, and scalability.
To support future growth, the company wants to transition the platform to its parent company’s IT operations and governance. Transitioning and modernizing the system will enhance features, strengthen cybersecurity, boost performance, and meet compliance standards.
Action
We migrated the travel platform which serves as a booking engine to the parent company’s IT governance and took over level 3 system maintenance from a vendor. Then, we built a platform to enable communication between different applications in the client’s ecosystem.
Our team completed data migration to Microsoft Azure, revamped the test automation suite and resolved technical debt.
We transitioned systems from on-premise to Microsoft Azure, enabled CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment of apps across all environments to support scalability, performance, and compliance.
We implemented cataloguing capabilities for transfer vehicles and drivers to enable centralized tracking of availability, location, service history, and driver assignments.
In addition, we deployed robust security that included customized password management, Single Sign-On (SSO), and protocol-specific authentication solutions. Full security compliance was achieved through access control, vulnerability assessment, and data protection measures.
