ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Skills
The Senior Manager, QA will oversee and manage the QA processes for both the Development and Support teams, ensuring high-quality standards are met across all product releases and customer support activities. This role involves leading QA strategy, driving continuous improvement, leading automation efforts using Cypress/Playwright and collaborating across teams to enhance quality in both development and post-release support.
Leadership & Strategy: Lead and mentor QA teams, define QA strategies, and ensure alignment with organizational goals for both development and support functions.
Process Improvement: Optimize and standardize QA practices, implement automation, and ensure consistent quality throughout the development lifecycle and customer support.
Collaboration: Act as a liaison between Development, Support, and business teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery of high-quality products.
Metrics & Reporting: Track QA performance, create reports, and present findings to senior leadership. Do Effective RCAs and track the action items to closure.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate product quality risks during development and in production support.
Qualifications:
10-12 years of QA experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
Strong expertise in QA processes, test automation, and Agile methodologies.
Experience managing QA for both Development and Support teams.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
