Oracle ERP implementation Fix Services for a Chemical Manufacturer in India
In Brief
The Client is involved in Manufacturing Chemicals in India, with their main manufacturing unit in Nashik & another one in Thane.
Both Manufacturing units fall under one Business Group where both are considered as separate legal entities and under it the different operating units and have their warehouses all over India which are mapped here as Inventory Organizations.
Current IT setup
The client has Oracle Apps 11.5.10.2 (11i) version installed and the server is centrally located in Nashik.
Challenges faced by the Client
The existing purchasing module of the client lacked proper hierarchy and setups due to which they were unable to use the features of Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders. It was a big challenge for them to properly implement the above-mentioned modules on Oracle so that the records on the system could be maintained for their offices.
