ENGAGEMENT MANAGER

Title: Engagement Manager
Duration: Full Time
Location: Bay Area, CA
Salary: Competitive

Requirement:

  • Manage delivery, ensure client satisfaction, grow and expand current accounts in the Southern California region for a fast paced IT services consulting firm, headquartered in the US with offshore location in India.

    The must have skills is experience in managing Oracle ERP engagements (project, application management) etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the client relationship and project success
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities in the accounts
  • Be responsible for revenue and profitability of these accounts
  • Coordinating with technical team for solution design and delivery
  • Taking Bid No Bid decisions along with Win Loss Analysis for new business
  • Initiating/arranging a bid involving discussion with the field (Sales and/or Customer)
  • Identifying areas of skills / capabilities and aligning with the solution proposed
  • Ensuring that the quality processes have been followed when building / sending the
    proposal
  • Participate in making of proposed solution presentations
  • High-level Solution Architecting along with clients
  • Periodically, create and review strategic account plan for his/her accounts

Reporting Relationship :

  • The role will report directly into Practice / Vertical Director and dotted line to VP of Client services

Qualification & Experience :

  • Excellent communication skills both spoken and written. Along with Good presentation skills.
  • Be highly motivated, energetic, disciplined, ambitious and results oriented.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish, develop and maintain professional relationships with senior executives.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, projects, prioritize and meet deadlines with minimum supervision
  • Knowledge of various technologies like Java, .Net, CRM, Integration, BI desired
  • Should have been exposed to the SDLC processes
  • Should have 8+ years of business experience of which 3-5 should have been in client facing roles.
